개인정보 처리방침 (Privacy Policy)

Home Barista(이하 “앱”)는 사용자의 개인정보를 소중하게 생각합니다. 이 방침은 앱이 어떤 정보를 사용하고 어떻게 처리하는지 설명합니다.
수집하는 정보
앱은 사용자를 식별하는 개인정보를 개발자에게 수집하거나 전송하지 않습니다. 개발자는 별도의 서버를 운영하지 않으며, 사용자의 기록에 접근할 수 없습니다.
앱이 사용하는 정보는 다음과 같습니다.
- 사용자가 직접 입력한 내용: 로스터리·원두·구매 내역·레시피·추출 기록·장비 정보와 메모. 기기와 사용자 본인의 iCloud 계정 안에만 저장됩니다.
- 사진: 사용자가 직접 고른 원두·로스터리 사진. 앱 안에서 표시하기 위해 저장하며, 외부로 전송하지 않습니다.
- 앱 설정: 타이머 소리·진동, 알림 시각, 선택한 날씨 지역 등. 기기 안에만 저장됩니다.
정보의 저장
모든 데이터는 사용자의 기기와 사용자 본인의 iCloud 계정(개인 CloudKit 데이터베이스) 에만 저장됩니다. 개발자는 이 데이터에 접근할 수 없습니다.
iCloud 동기화는 독립적인 백업이 아닙니다. 한 기기에서 데이터를 삭제하면 같은 계정의 다른 기기에서도 삭제됩니다.
기기 권한
- 카메라: 원두 봉투를 촬영해 정보를 읽는 ‘원두 스캔’ 기능에서만 사용합니다. 촬영 시점에만 권한을 요청하며, 촬영한 사진을 사진 보관함에 자동 저장하지 않습니다.
- 사진: 사진을 고를 때 iOS의 사진 선택기를 사용합니다. 앱은 사진 보관함 전체 접근 권한을 요청하지 않으며, 사용자가 고른 사진만 전달받습니다.
- 알림: 참고 기간 알림, 원두 구매 알림, 타이머 단계 안내에 사용하는 기기 내 로컬 알림입니다. 사용자가 켠 경우에만 예약합니다.
- 위치: 앱은 위치 권한을 요청하지 않습니다. 날씨를 쓰려면 사용자가 지역을 직접 검색해 선택합니다. 광고 SDK가 IP 주소로 추정하는 대략적인 위치는 아래 ‘추적 및 광고’를 참고해주세요.
권한은 언제든 iPhone 설정 앱 > Home Barista 에서 변경할 수 있습니다.
원두 스캔 (Apple Intelligence)
‘원두 스캔’은 촬영하거나 선택한 이미지에서 글자를 읽어 원두 등록 폼을 채웁니다.
- 글자 인식과 내용 추출은 모두 기기 안에서 처리됩니다. 외부 서버나 API로 이미지를 전송하지 않습니다.
- 원본 이미지와 인식한 원문은 저장하지 않습니다.
- 인식 결과는 자동 저장되지 않으며, 사용자가 확인하고 저장을 눌러야 기록됩니다.
- iOS 26 이상에서 Apple Intelligence를 사용할 수 있는 기기에서만 제공됩니다.
날씨와 지역 검색 (선택 기능)
날씨는 추출 추천을 돕는 선택 기능이며, 사용하지 않아도 앱의 모든 기능을 쓸 수 있습니다.
- 지역을 검색하면 검색어가 Apple의 지도 서비스로 전송됩니다.
- 지역을 선택하면 해당 지역의 좌표가 날씨 조회를 위해 Apple의 WeatherKit으로 전송됩니다. 기기의 실제 위치는 사용하지 않습니다.
- 선택한 지역 이름과 좌표는 기기 안에만 저장됩니다.
- 이 과정에는 Apple의 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다. 지역 선택 화면에서 ‘날씨 사용 안 함’을 선택하면 조회하지 않습니다.
추적 및 광고
앱은 사용자 활동을 추적하지 않으며, 개발자가 사용하는 제3자 분석(애널리틱스) 도구가 없습니다. 앱은 App Tracking Transparency(ATT) 동의를 요청하지 않고, 광고 식별자(IDFA)에 접근하지 않습니다.
앱은 광고를 표시하며, 광고는 Google AdMob을 사용합니다. AdMob은 광고 제공을 위해 일부 정보를 수집·처리할 수 있습니다. 자세한 내용은 Google의 개인정보처리방침을 참고해주세요.
수집될 수 있는 정보에는 기기 식별자, 광고 및 앱 사용 데이터, 진단 정보와 함께 IP 주소에서 추정한 대략적인 위치가 포함됩니다. 앱이 기기의 위치 권한을 요청하거나 기기 위치를 사용하는 것은 아닙니다.
거주 지역에서 동의 관리가 필요한 경우, 앱 안의 설정 > 개인정보 > 광고 개인정보 설정에서 언제든 선택을 변경할 수 있습니다.
데이터 삭제
- 앱 안에서 로스터리·원두·구매 내역·레시피·기록·장비를 각각 삭제할 수 있습니다.
- iPhone에서 앱을 삭제하면 기기에 저장된 데이터가 제거됩니다.
- iCloud에 저장된 데이터는 기기의 설정 > Apple 계정 > iCloud 에서 관리할 수 있습니다.
아동의 개인정보
앱은 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.
방침의 변경
이 방침이 변경되면 이 페이지에 게시하고 최종 수정일을 갱신합니다.

Home Barista (“the app”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
The app does not collect or transmit any personally identifying information to the developer. The developer runs no server and has no access to your records.
The app uses the following:
- What you enter: roasteries, beans, purchases, recipes, brew records, equipment and notes. Stored only on your device and in your own iCloud account.
- Photos: bean and roastery photos you choose, stored for display in the app and never transmitted.
- App settings: timer sound and haptics, reminder time, the weather location you picked. Stored only on your device.
Storage
All data is stored only on your device and in your own iCloud account (a private CloudKit database). The developer has no access to it.
iCloud sync is not a separate backup. Deleting data on one device deletes it on your other devices signed in to the same account.
Device Permissions
- Camera: used only by Scan Bean, to read a coffee bag. Permission is requested at the moment you take a photo, and captured photos are not saved to your photo library.
- Photos: the app uses the system photo picker. It does not request full photo library access and only receives the photos you choose.
- Notifications: local notifications only, for drinking-window reminders, restock reminders and timer step alerts. Scheduled only when you turn them on.
- Location: the app never requests location access. To use weather, you search for and choose a place yourself. For the coarse location the ad SDK estimates from your IP address, see Tracking & Ads below.
You can change permissions any time in Settings > Home Barista on your iPhone.
Scan Bean (Apple Intelligence)
Scan Bean reads text from a photo you take or choose and fills in the bean form.
- Text recognition and extraction happen entirely on your device. No image is sent to any server or API.
- The original image and the recognized text are not stored.
- Results are never saved automatically; you review them and tap Save.
- Available only on iOS 26 or later, on devices where Apple Intelligence is available.
Weather and Place Search (Optional)
Weather is an optional aid for brew suggestions. Every feature of the app works without it.
- Searching for a place sends your query to Apple’s map services.
- Choosing a place sends that place’s coordinates to Apple’s WeatherKit to look up conditions. Your device’s actual location is never used.
- The chosen place name and coordinates are stored only on your device.
- Apple’s privacy policy applies to these requests. Choosing “Don’t use weather” in the location screen stops them.
Tracking & Ads
The app does not track your activity and uses no third-party analytics on the developer’s behalf. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) consent and does not access the advertising identifier (IDFA).
The app displays ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process certain information in order to serve ads. For details, see Google’s Privacy Policy.
What it may collect includes device identifiers, advertising and app usage data, diagnostics, and a coarse location estimated from your IP address. The app itself neither requests location permission nor uses your device’s location.
Where consent management is required in your region, you can change your choices any time in the app under Settings > Privacy > Ad privacy settings.
Data Deletion
- You can delete roasteries, beans, purchases, recipes, records and equipment individually in the app.
- Deleting the app from your iPhone removes the data stored on the device.
- Data stored in iCloud can be managed in Settings > Apple Account > iCloud.
Children’s Privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
